BEVERLY, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye has announced that Endicott's Brittany Nolan (Monroe, Conn.) and freshman Elyse Barbour (Greenville, R.I.) have been named the TCCC Libero and Rookie of the Week, respectfully. The pair was instrumental in Endicott's championship weekend at the EC Invitational Tournament.

Nolan continued her solid play as she averaged 5.10 digs per game and turned in a stellar .905 reception percentage in three-straight wins for the Gulls last weekend. Nolan chalked up 13 digs in a sweep of Emmanuel, 15 digs in a sweep of Eastern Connecticut State, and 23 digs in an impressive four-set victory over Bowdoin in the tournament final. Nolan served at a .903 clip over 10 games played.

Rightside Elyse Barbour logged six kills and eight total blocks in three wins for the now 5-1 Gulls. She posted a solid .263 attack percentage for the week and notched eight total blocks, six of which game in the Blue and Green's win over the Polar Bears in the finals.

Endicott returns to action on Saturday afternoon as it hosts a tri-match with Regis and Eastern Nazarene. Matches are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
