BEVERLY, MA - Endicott senior captain Sara Moore (Guilford, CT/Guilford) was selected for the New England Women's Volleyball Association (NEWVA) Senior Classic at Clark College this past weekend. Moore, a middle hitter, was one of 25 seniors chosen to participate in this year's All-Star event.
Moore will graduate as the program's all-time leader in every major hitting and blocking category. This past season, the Guilford, Connecticut native led the Gulls with 350 kills in 90 games played. Moore showed great leadership throughout her career at Endicott, serving as a captain for the past two seasons.
The Gulls finished off the season with an overall record of 26-13, while going a perfect 9-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference play. The conference regular season champion's went on to win the CCC playoffs, earning an automatic berth into the NCAA Division III National Tournament. While on the national stage, Endicott recorded the program's first even NCAA Tournament victory, as they defeated the Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors, 3-2.
Moore was recognized as a Senior Scholar Athlete and a First Team All-Commonwealth Coast Conference player this past season.
