BEVERLY, MA - Three members of the Endicott College women's volleyball team earned Commonwealth Coast Conference weekly honors.
Meghan Hall (Santa Cruz, CA) was named the CCC Player of the Week, Steph Wiese (Higganum, CT) was named the co-Rookie of the Week and Brittany Nolan (Monroe, CT) was named the co-Libero of the Week.
Hall played an instrumental role in the Gulls' 3-0 performance last week, which included a straight-game win over defending CCC champion Colby-Sawyer. She averaged an impressive 12.78 assists per game to go with 1.11 kills and 3.44 digs/game. Hall had 41 assists versus Colby-Sawyer and offered a 6-kill, 37-assist outing to lead Endicott over Plymouth State.
Weise continued her excellent play this season helping EC to a 3-0 week by averaging 3.50 kills and 2.38 digs per game. She also had 14 kills while hitting .286 in a non-conference win over Plymouth State. Nolan averaged 5.89 digs per game in the three wins and she had 22 digs in the Gulls' victory over Colby-Sawyer.
With the three win week the Gulls have improved to 7-8 on the season (4-0 CCC) rattling of five wins in a row. EC will next take on rivals Gordon College on Wednesday night at home.
