BEVERLY, MA - Freshmen outside hitter Steph Wiese (Higganum, CT/Haddam-Killingworth) was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday after her impressive performance in four matches for the Gulls.

Wiese was impressive both on the attack and defensively for Endicott. The Gulls split four matches over the week, taking wins from Wentworth and UNE. Wiese averaged 3.20 kills and 2.53 digs over 11 games and had 19 kills versus Emmanuel College. Wiese has made an immediate impact for EC as she has played in all 42 games for the Gulls and has tallied 95 kills, 96 digs and 15 service aces this season.

Wiese and the Gulls will be back in action Tuesday night as they take on Plymouth State University at home at 7:00 p.m.
