BEVERLY, MA - Endicott dispatched rivals Gordon College with a three game sweep Wednesday night to extend their winning streak to six games and improve to 5-0 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference.
The Gulls were sparked by Hayley Janelle (Madbury, NH) who had ten kills in only her second match since returning from a back injury and once again Steph Wiese (Higganum, CT), Meghan Hall (Santa Cruz, CA) and Sara Moore (Guilford, CT) carried Endicott to victory.
Wiese had ten kills and eight digs continuing her stellar freshmen campaign, while CCC Player of the Week, Hall added 37 assists, two aces and 14 digs. Moore showed her ability to play both offense and defense as she scored nine kills and dug out nine balls. Brittany Nolan (Monroe, CT) also added 17 digs to the winning effort.
Endicott improves to 8-8 on the year and is currently riding a six game win streak. The Gulls are off until Saturday when they play Eastern Nazarene and Roger Williams in Quincy, MA.
