Endicott defeated Plymouth State (3-0) and Keene State (3-1) in pool play to advance to the Championship match but fell to host Springfield in straight sets. Sara Moore and Meghan Hall were both named to the All-Tournament team.
In their first match of the day, the Gulls defeated Plymouth State by the scores of 30-26, 30-25, 30-27. Sara Moore led all players with 12 kills while Steph Wiese contributed 10 kills and 11 digs. Meghan Hall handed out 32 assists and picked up 10 digs and Katelyn Smith picked up 11 digs in the win.
The Gulls then defeated Keene State to win their pool, 30-22, 28-30, 30-21, 30-14. Sara Moore set a new school record for kills in a match with 26. Wiese made numerous contributions with 13 kills, nine aces and a team high 23 digs. Hayley Janelle added 10 kills while Hall dished out 58 assists while Smith picked up 21 digs.
In the finale, EC fell to Springfield by the scores 30-16, 30-26, 30-28. Wiese led all Gulls with nine kills followed by Janelle's seven. Hall led the team with 27 assists and 21 digs and Smith picked up 12 digs.
Endicott improves to 14-9 overall and remains 8-0 in CCC play. The Gulls will return to action on Thursday, when they travel to Rhode Island College for a 6:00 PM non-conference match.
