SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Endicott College freshman Kate Cioffi (Essex, Vt.) took home both TCCC Player and Rookie of the Week this week as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye on Monday. This marks Cioffi's fourth nomination as the Rookie of the Week and her first Player of the Week award on the season. Cioffi led the Gulls to another perfect 3-0 week as they push their record to 12-0 and 8-0 in the TCCC.

Cioffi started her week by helping Endicott defeat the University of Southern Maine 9-0. Cioffi won her \#1 singles match by a score of 6-1, 6-1 and followed that up with a \#1 doubles win with teammate Lori Wardner (Wrentham, Mass.) by a score of 8-1. Her strong week continued as she was able to be a part of another 9-0 sweep over Wentworth where Cioffi posted another straight set win in \#1 singles and teamed with season-long partner Alyson Boehm (Lowell, Mass.) for an 8-3 victory in \#2 doubles. Finally, Cioffi was able to finish off her unbeaten week on Sunday where she won again in \#1 singles and \#2 doubles by scores of 6-2, 6-3 and 8-0.

Cioffi looks to keep the Gulls unbeaten streak alive when they travel to the campus of Colby-Sawyer for another TCCC matchup on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
