SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Endicott College junior Lori Wardner (Reading, Mass.) was able to win the TCCC Player of the Week this week in women's tennis as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye on Monday. Wardner played a critical role in allowing the women's tennis team to remain unbeaten at 7-0 by going 2-0 this week in conference play.
Wardner was able to win her first match of the year in \#2 singles against Eastern Nazarene in straight sets. The junior also picked up another singles win in \#3 singles on Saturday against defending TCCC championship Roger Williams. She was able to go unbeaten in \#1 doubles during the week as well as she teamed with partner Nicole Breting (Johnston, R.I.) to go 2-0.
Lori Wardner looks to lead the Blue and Green and continue their undefeated season when they travel to Wenham, Massachusetts and take on TCCC rival Gordon College on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
