BEVERLY, Mass. - It was announced on Tuesday that the softball match up between Endicott College and Western New England College originally scheduled for Wednesday, has been postponed due to field conditions. The games have been rescheduled for Thursday, with start times remaining at 3 and 5 p.m.
The doubleheader will mark the first conference match up of the season for Endicott, as well as WNEC's debut as a member of the TCCC. The Golden Bears join the TCCC this season after finishing atop the GNAC last year with an 18-4 conference record.
Endicott's Maria Mangine was named TCCC Pitcher of the Week on Monday for her performance during the Rebel Spring Games in Osceola, Fla. Mangine went 3-0 with three complete games, including one shutout, while compiling an ERA of 0.70. The sophomore helped the Gulls get off to one of their best starts in years, as the team went 8-1 during the spring trip.
