OSCEOLA, Fla. - Endicott College, winners of four-straight, will have to wait until 1:00 p.m. today to return to the field, as a steady morning rain in the Orlando area has caused the Gulls contest vs. Geneseo State to be cancelled. The non-conference game will not be rescheduled.
The Blue and Green are off to an exciting start, posting a 7-1 record to begin their young season. The Gulls Jenna Lazar (Milton, Mass.) has been on a torrid tear, batting 10-for-20 with five runs scored. Lazar's .550 slugging percentage is tops amongst Endicott starters, and the sophomore has not committed an error in seven games.
Endicott looks to make it five in a row on Thursday, as the Gulls are scheduled to meet MCLA at 1:00 p.m.
