BEVERLY, Mass. — Former Endicott men's ice hockey All-American Logan Day (Seminole, Fla.) and the Hershey Bears won their second straight American Hockey League (AHL) Calder Cup championship last night in a game six overtime thriller over the Coachella Valley Firebirds, 5-4.
Day's playoff stats included two goals and five assists for seven points over 15 games played for the Bears.
Two of his five helpers came in the Calder Cup finals.
Day played in 54 games during the regular season, compiling six goals and 19 assists for 25 points. He also finished the regular season with a +7 rating.
The former Gull has played in the AHL since 2017-18 for three teams (Bakersfield Condors, 2017-20; Lehigh Valley Phantoms, 2020-22; Hershey Bears 2022-24).
