No. 11 Men’s Ice Hockey Blanks Rivier, 4-0

BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 11 nationally ranked Endicott men's ice hockey team took down Rivier, 4-0, in non-conference action on Saturday evening at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

John Goldowski (Buffalo, N.Y.) started the scoring early in the opening period thanks to feeds from James Davenport (Natick, Mass.) and Michael Casey (Media, Pa.) to give the Gulls an early 1-0 edge (13:41).

Soon after, Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Ore.) nailed a wrist shot at the 15:03 mark to give the Blue and Green some early insurance in the opening stanza.

In the final period, Goldowski and Ben Jenkinson (Nantucket, Mass.) each plotted a tally for the Gulls to put the game out of reach.

In net, Ryan Wilson (Shelton, Conn.) turned away 27 shots in the contest to improve to 5-1-0 on the season (16-4-0 career).
