Kurapov Earns CCM/AHCA All-America Honors

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott senior forward Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Ore.) has earned CCM/American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-America East Second Team honors as announced Wednesday night.

This is the second time in his career Kurapov has been named to an All-America team after he recieved first team honors last year.

Kurapov's selection is the seventh overall in program history (award history).

The CCM Hockey/AHCA All-American Hockey Teams are sponsored by CCM Hockey and chosen by members of the American Hockey Coaches Association. 

CCM is the legendary hockey brand dedicated to the endless pursuit of performance by delivering game-changing, head-to-toe innovative hockey equipment to players worldwide.

In 28 games played this season, Kurapov compiled 31 points with 11 goals and 20 assists. The senior had three game-winning gals and finished with a +11 rating.

He currently ranks No. 43 among all Division III skaters in points per game (1.11), No. 39 in assists per game (0.71), and No. 22 in game-winning goals.

The CCM/AHCA All-America honor also marks Kurapov's second postseason award this season.

Kurapov was named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Year honor on March 5 for the second consecutive season.

The senior was also named a finalist for the Joe Concannon Award which was won by Trinity's Devon Bobak.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott finished its season with a final record of 17-6-5 as they captured the CCC Conference Championship to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. In the NCAA Tournament they feel to Elmira, 5-2.
