Field Hockey Defeats Salem State, 8-0

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott field hockey team shut out Salem State, 8-0, in non-conference action on Wednesday night at North Field.

Meaghan Hogan (Cheshire, Conn.), Lindsay Bruns (Belfast, Maine), Kathleen Reissfelder (Westwood, Mass.), Olivia Lampasona (Watertown, Mass.), Claire Boncek (Hamden, Conn.), Tori Swanson (Farmington, Conn.), Maddy Dengler (Winchester, Mass.), and Casey Halliday (Monroe, Conn.) all scored in the victory.

In goal, starter Brianna Anslow (Clifton Park N.Y.) earned the win over 30 minutes of action to improve to 4-2 on the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Gulls are 14-3 all-time against Salem State.
  • Endicott has seven straight versus the Vikings.
  • Head coach Jodi Cipolla earned her 199th career victory tonight, all coming with the Gulls.
  • Endicott's eight goals are ranked tied for 10th all-time in program history.

Endicott (5-2) hosts Husson on Saturday, September 24 at 1 PM. Salem State (1-4) visits Framingham State this Saturday at 11 AM.
