Alexis DeMattia Earns First Career CCC Honors

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman Alexis DeMattia (Methuen, Mass.) has received Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week accolades, as announced by the league office earlier today.

DeMattia finished her first collegiate start with a 4-1 victory over Worcester Polytechnic Institute on Saturday (Sept. 10). DeMattia recorded eight saves on nine shots for the Gulls, marking her first collegiate win.

This is DeMattia's first career CCC weekly honor.

Endicott (2-2) travels to Wheaton (Mass.) on Thursday, September 15 at 7 PM.
