Gulls Blank Husson, 5-0; Cipolla Notches 200th Career Win

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott field hockey team shut out Husson, 5-0, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon at North Field.

The win also marked Endicott head coach Jodi Cipolla's 200th career victory.

As for the contest, Lindsay Bruns (Belfast, Maine) found the back of the net twice (1:22, 44:14), while Maddy Dengler (Winchester, Mass.), Lily Farnham (Andover, Mass.), and Meaghan Hogan (Cheshire, Conn.) rounded out the list of goal scorers for the Gulls, respectively.

Meanwhile, in net, Brianna Anslow (Clifton Park, N.Y.) accumulated five saves to push her record to 5-2 on the season.

BEYOND THE BOX

  • Endicott is 2-0 in the all-time series versus Husson (10/14/2014, 4-1).
  • Cipolla also earned the 100th win of her career versus the Eagles the last time these two teams played. 
  • Bruns notched her first multi-goal game of the 2022 campaign.
  • Farnham recorded her first collegiate goal.
  • The Gulls extended their winning streak to five games with the win.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (6-2) hosts Springfield on Wednesday, September 28 at 7 PM. Husson (3-4) travels to New England College on October 1, at 11 AM.
