BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott field hockey team has been chosen first overall in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the league office earlier today.
Endicott, winners of three straight conference championships (2018, 2019, 2021), earned 47 points and five out of seven first-place votes (FPV) in this year's poll.
The Gulls were followed by the University of New England (45, 2 FPV), Western New England (30), Roger Williams (29), Salve Regina (22), Nichols (15), and Gordon (9), respectively.
Endicott opens up its 2022 season on the road versus Marywood on Saturday, September 3 at 1:30 PM on the campus of Vassar College (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.).
