(Beverly, MA) Endicott improved to 6-8 and 2-1 in the CCC with a lop-sided win over Anna Maria College in the first game of a double header. The combination of 12 hits and five AMC errors doomed the visitors.
It was close early as Endicott starter and winner, Jamie Turner, allowed two runs in the top of the first on two walks and two hits. He then settled in nicely and pitched one-run ball over the next four innings to earn his second victory of the season. Jason Carter pitched a flawless sixth and seventh in his first appearance since the Florida swing.
Endicott tied it up in the second and broke it open in the third with four runs on three hits. The Gulls put it away in fifth with four more runs.
For the game, Dave Babiarz had three hits, three runs and an RBI. Greg Allain had two hits and three RBI and Gary Palmieri had two hits, two RBI, a double and a walk.
