BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's tennis freshman Emily Leclerc (Manchester, N.H.) has been named the Conference of New England's (CNE) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
This past week, Leclerc posted a 5-0 record in matches against Gordon (L, 4-3), Western New England (W, 7-0), and Roger Williams (W, 6-1).
She went 2-0 in singles matches versus Western New England (No. 1, 6-0, 6-0) and Roger Williams (No. 3, 6-1, 6-3) on the week.
The freshman also proceeded to notch three victories in doubles against Gordon (No. 1, 6-2), Western New England (No. 1, 6-2), and Roger Williams (No. 3, 6-2).
This is her first career CNE Rookie of the Week award.
