BEVERLY, Mass. - Four Endicott College women's soccer players have been named to the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association's All-New England team. Endicott captured its fifth-consecutive TCCC title and finished 2007 with a 17-6 overall record.
Sarah Miller (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Geurtin) headlines the group of honored Gulls as she received Second Team honors. Miller started all 23 games for the Blue and Green, tallying three goals and two assists for eight points. Miller was the anchor of a Gulls defense that only surrendered eight goals in the regular season.
Also securing Second Team honors was forward Caitlin Flynn (Southold, N.Y./Mattituck). A persistent offensive threat, Flynn led the Gulls with 14 goals and four assists for a team-high 32 points. Flynn's offensive output placed her second in The Commonwealth Coast Conference in goals and points per game.
Margreta Weber (Bedford, N.H./Manchester West) and Paula McGinn (Lynn, Mass./Lynn Classical) each earned Third Team recognition as they capped off their respective senior seasons. Weber, a tenacious midfielder who was unafraid to sacrifice the body for possession, contributed a well-rounded six goals and six assists for 18 points.
McGinn finalizes her storied Endicott career with All-New England honors. Paula finished '07 with nine goals, which placed her second on the team. McGinn will leave Endicott as the program's second leading scorer (52 goals), just 12 tallies shy of record holder Shannon Corliss.
