BEVERLY, MA - Endicott senior forward Paula McGinn (Lynn, MA/Lynn Classical) earned The Commonwealth Coast Conference's final Player of the Week award for women's soccer as she tallied two goals in a pair of NCAA Division III Tournament games this past weekend.
Endicott, winners of five-straight TCCC titles, defeated Roger Williams University in overtime to advance to the national tournament. In the Gulls' opening game of the NCAA Tournament, McGinn scored the game winner in the 64th minute as Endicott snuck past Oneonta State, 2-1.
The following day McGinn added her ninth goal of the season in a hard-fought, 3-1, loss to Western Connecticut State University. The Gulls ended their season with an overall record of 17-6-0. Paula will leave Endicott as the program's second most prolific scorer with 64 career goals, just 12 shy of record holder Shannon Corliss '99.
