BEVERLY, MA - Endicott scored 18 goals in the first half en route to a 21-2 victory over Regis College in Commonwealth Coast Conference women's lacrosse action.
Freshman Alex Pearce (Underhill, VT/Kimball Union Academy) put home a game-high four goals and assisted on another, powering the Gulls to 11-2 overall and 5-1 in the CCC. Regis dropped to 0-5 (0-5 CCC) despite getting one goal each from Ashley Villandry (Arlington, MA/Arlington) and Jevon Biffinger (Avon, CT/Avon).
Freshman Sara Gunter (Kennebunk, ME/Kennebunk) and senior Heather Hatfield (Tyngsboro, MA/Tyngsboro) each recorded hat tricks while Shiori Tachiwana (Kanagawa, Japan/Sakae Institute), Emily Judd (Peabody, MA/Peabody), Susie Neikirk (Scotia, NY/Scotia-Glenville), who also handed out three assists, and Cathy Sharp (Rutland, VT/Rutland) scored two goals apiece.
Judd also scooped up seven ground balls and, along with Gunter, forced five turnovers. Sharp is leading the team and the CCC with 45 goals while Gunter is second on the team with 23 goals.
Endicott will travel to Curry College Tuesday night (6) while the Pride visits Roger Williams Thursday afternoon (3).
