NCAA TOURNAMENT: Softball Heads To MIT Regional On Thursday

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott softball team is scheduled to compete in the NCAA Tournament this week at the MIT Regional from May 18-20. Here's a preview of the tournament.

Live stats and video will be available for all games this weekend. 

Fans can also access the MIT Regional Tournament Page for updated information throughout the week. 


TICKET PRICES 

$6 — Adults, $3 — Senior Citizens, $2 — Student (w/ ID) & Children (ages 3-12, Free — Children under 2


FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • The host Engineers are ranked No. 16 nationally in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Top 25 Coaches Poll
  • Endicott has won 17 in a row dating back to its 2-0 home victory against then-No. 25 MIT
  • All-time records against other teams in the bracket include Rensselaer (0-0), MIT (2-1), and Simmons (1-0, 5/12/12, ECAC Tournament)
  • Rensselaer earned an at-large bid into the tournament after posting a 32-9 record this season
  • RPI claimed three Liberty League major awards this week including Pitcher of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Coaching Staff of the Year (full release)

Thursday, May 18

Game One: RPI vs Endicott, 2 PM
Game Two: No. 16 MIT vs Simmons, 4:30 PM

Friday, May 19

Game Three: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2, 12 PM
Game Four: Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2, 2:30 PM
Game Five: Winner Game 4 vs. Loser Game 3, 5 PM

Saturday, May 20

Game Six: Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 5, 12 PM
Game Seven: Loser of Game 6 vs. Winner of Game 6 (if necessary), 2 PM
