MAJOR AWARD WINNERS

RAVEN COMTOIS | SR. | C
Player of the Year | All-CCC First Team

Comtois is the eighth student-athlete in program history to earn conference Player of the Year honors.

She joins Endicott Hall of Famer Meghan Sargent Plath '09 (Salisbury, Mass.) as the only other catcher in program history to win the award.

Sargent Plath won the award twice, in 2007 and 2008. She is the only student-athlete in the program to claim multiple conference Player of the Year accolades.

In 42 games played (all starts, 26 at C, 16 at DP), Comtois slashed .427/.471/.748 to go along with 31 runs, 61 hits – 10 doubles, 12 home runs – 36 RBI, 12 walks, and only 14 strikeouts in 143 at-bats.

Comtois compiled a team-leading 19 multi-hit games (2 – 12 | 3 – 7) and nine multi-RBI contests (2 – 5 | 3 – 3 | 4 – 1). She currently sports a 23-game hitting and 23-game on-base streak, the longest of anyone on the team.

The Gulls are 21-5 when she starts at catcher and 14-2 when Comtois starts at designated player this season. Endicott also is 17-0 since Comtois moved up to the two-hole in the lineup.
