BEVERLY, Mass. — Cole Fergusson (South Salem, N.Y.) buried his first goal of the season with 11-seconds remaining to lift Endicott past Wentworth, 2-1, in conference action on Saturday evening at Hempstead Stadium.
Joe Mepham (Sudbury, Mass.) set up the game-winning tally with a tremendous individual effort up the left flank.
After a long run up the wing, Mepham out-muscled his defender with a spin move before evading another near the post with a slick pass into the middle of the box that Fergusson one-timed home through a screen.
Meanwhile, Ryan Gerry (Durham, Conn.) was responsible for the equalizer at the 70:49 mark off feeds from Hayden Laske (Wethersfield, Conn.) and Konrad Krysztoforski (Bydgoszcz, Poland).
Kyle Rosa (Norton, Mass.) earned the win (5-0-3) with a four-save effort in between the posts.
