Karkos’ Hat Trick Buries Nichols On Senior Day, 3-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott junior forward Max Karkos (Wethersfield, Conn.) registered his first career hat trick to lead the Gulls past Nichols, 3-0, in league play on Tuesday night at Hempstead Stadium.

Prior to the match, seniors Cole Elgin (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) and Zach Regulbuto (Somers, Conn.) were both honored for their contributions to the men's soccer program and the Endicott community.

Karkos stole the show, however, with tallies at 12', 48', and 86', respectively.

Meanwhile, in goal, Regulbuto and Kyle Rosa (Norton, Mass.) split halves and notched one save each.

Regulbuto was credited with the victory in net (5-2-1).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Karkos netted the ninth three-plus goal game in program history.
  • Endicott is 14-10-2 all-time against Nichols.
  • The Gulls are 7-1-1 at home this season.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (8-3-3, 3-1-1 CCC) visits Roger Williams on Saturday, October 15 at 3 PM. Nichols (7-5-3, 0-2-3 CCC) hosts Salve Regina this Saturday at 3 PM.
