NEWPORT, R.I. - The Endicott men's soccer team played to a 3-3 draw against Salve Regina in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Saturday afternoon at Toppa Field.
Following an early 1-0 deficit, Spencer Butterworth (Topsfield, Mass.) and Cole Elgin (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) quickly notched tallies at 26' and 30', respectively, to give Endicott a 2-1 lead.
Salve Regina responded with a game-tying tally of its own at 42:51 before Tiago Frazao (Trumbull, Conn.) buried a ball into the back of the net (55:36) to give the Gulls the upper hand, 3-2, at the time.
From there, the Seahawks found the equalizer at 64:03, eventually resulting in the 3-3 tie.
Kyle Rosa (Norton, Mass.) stopped four shots between the pipes in the draw (2-0-2).
BEYOND THE BOX
- Despite the loss, Endicott holds an 11-8-5 advantage in the all-time series over Salve Regina.
- Frazao leads the squad with six goals on the year.
- Butterworth notched his first score of the 2022 campaign.
- Codan Foley (Carver, Mass.) recorded his first point of the season with an assist on Butterworth's tally.

Endicott (7-3-3, 2-1-1 CCC) hosts Nichols on Tuesday, October 11 at 7 PM for its Senior Day. Salve Regina (5-2-4, 2-1-1 CCC) travels to Bridgewater State on Monday, October 10 at 1 PM.
