Men’s Soccer Handles Gordon, 2-0

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's soccer team defeated Gordon, 2-0, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Saturday night at Hempstead Stadium.

Tiago Frazao (Trumbull, Conn.) and Joe Mepham (Sudbury, Mass.) set each other up for the Gulls' pair of goals in the win.

Mepham initiated the first tally of the contest (56:38) when he fed Frazao a through ball from the right wing near the penalty area. Frazao wasted little time with his scoring chance as he one-timed a shot into the upper left 90 for his fourth goal of the season (seventh career).

Less than two minutes later (57:47), Frazao returned the favor with a through ball of his own that set up Mepham for a long run on the right wing. Mepham took care of the rest as the sure-footed striker burst into the box with a full head of steam and buried his one-on-one opportunity with the keeper (1st season | 11th career).

In goal, Zach Regulbuto (Somers, Conn.) improved to 3-1-1 but was not tested in the contest thanks to a strong effort from Endicott's back line (8 shots allowed, 0 on goal).
