EAST BOSTON, Mass. — The Endicott men's soccer team fell to Suffolk, 1-0, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Saturday evening at James A. Sartori at Hempstead Stadium.
Deadlocked at 0-0 after one of half of physical play, Suffolk wasted little time finding the eventual game-winner after the restart (49:26) and held on for the victory despite being outshot by the Gulls 8-2 in the stanza.
In goal, Zach Regulbuto (Somers, Conn.) registered two saves (4-2-1) in 49:26 minutes of action, while Kyle Rosa (Norton, Mass.) finished out the last 40:34 of play.
BEYOND THE BOX
- Despite the loss, Endicott leads the all-time series versus Suffolk, 3-1-0.
- The Rams are 2-1-1 at home this year.
