BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's basketball team defeated Salve Regina, 77-71, in overtime on Tuesday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Rodgers Recreation Center.
Tied 68-68 with under four minutes left to play in overtime, Keith Brown (Pelham, N.H.) scored six straight points for the Gulls to put them ahead 74-71 (1:33) before Jalen Echevarria (Lynn, Mass.) buried the dagger, a three-point shot with 36-seconds to play, to lift Endicott to the victory.
Brown finished the contest with a double-double (16 points, 11 rebounds) and Echevarria registered nine points.
Meanwhile, Matt McDevitt (Cumberland, Maine) paced the squad with a team-high 21 points (7-13 FG, 6-10 3PT, 1-2 FT).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott improved to 25-15 overall against Salve Regina with tonight's win.
- The Gulls are 2-1 on the road this season.
- Endicott has now won three games in a row.
