BOSTON, Mass. – The Endicott men's basketball team posted a 102-69 non-conference victory over Lesley University on Saturday evening in the Emmanuel College Tip-Off Classic at the Andy Yosinoff Court.
Matt McDevitt (Cumberland, Maine) paved the way for Endicott in the win via a team-high 17 points (6-9 FG, 5-7 3PT), three rebounds, two steals, a block, and a steal.
Keith Brown (Pelham, N.H.) also contributed 15 points, while Jalen Echevarria (Lynn, Mass.) and Jake Rudolph (Topsfield, Mass.) registered 12 points and 10 points, respectively, to round out the list of double-digit scorers for the Gulls.
As a team, 47.9-percent from the floor (35-73), 41.7-percent from beyond the arc (15-36), and 85.0-percent at the free throw line (17-20).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The Gulls hit the triple-digit mark in points for the second time this season.
- Endicott improved to 5-0 all-time against Lesley.
- This was the first meeting between the two programs since November 18, 2014 (W, 95-44).
Endicott (2-1) travels to Eastern Nazarene on Tuesday, November 19 at 7 PM. Lesley (0-5) hosts Gordon College next Tuesday at 7 PM.
