In the CCC Championship with Endicott ahead 4-3, Pinciaro rallied after losing her first set at \#6 singles to win 2-6, 6-3, 6-4.  The point awarded the Gulls their match-winning fifth point as Endicott won their second conference title in program history.  Their last championship came in the 2008 season, the freshman season for this year’s senior class.

Earlier in the week, Pinciaro won 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 against her Springfield opponent.  Her \#6 singles victory broke the 4-4 tie with the Pride and gave Endicott a win heading into the CCC Tournament.

Heacox went 2-0 at \#3 singles and 3-0 at \#3 doubles with partner Emilie Cloutier (Lewiston, Maine) on the week.  The freshman will finish her fall season with a 24-0 record with 11 singles victories and 13 doubles wins.

Last week against Springfield, Heacox dropped her first set 1-6 before taking sets two and three 7-6, 6-2.  The comeback tied the score with the Pride 4-4, setting up Pinciaro’s \#6 singles win.

In the CCC Tournament, Heacox and Cloutier took care of both their semifinal and finals opponents in impressive fashion.  The duo won 8-2 over Roger Williams in the semifinals and 8-0 over Nichols in the championship.  Heacox followed up her doubles victory against the Bison with a straight-set, 6-0, 6-2 win at \#3 singles.

Endicott will move on to the NCAA Tournament which will be played in the spring.  In their lone match of the 2008 NCAA Tournament, the Gulls fell 5-0 to Wellesley.
