2011 All-CCC Women's Tennis Team

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. –
Senior captain Kate Cioffi (Essex, Vt.) and sophomore Emilie Cloutier (Lewiston, Maine) headlined the six Endicott representatives on the 2011 All-CCC Women’s Tennis Team that was announced today by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. 

Voting for the All-CCC team was conducted by the league’s women’s tennis head coaches. 

Cioffi and Cloutier were both named First Team Singles honorees after both players posted just one loss in CCC matches during the regular season.  Cioffi went 7-1 at the \#1 singles position while Cloutier was 4-1 at \#2 singles.  Both players were impressive in non-conference matches as well as the two went a combined 6-2 against those opponents.   

Freshman \#3 singles star Amy Heacox (Marion, Mass.) earned a Second Team Singles nod after winning all five matches she played against league opponents and finished the regular season undefeated at 9-0 overall. 

Fellow freshman Natalie Egbert (Gorham, Maine) also earned All-CCC accolades for her performance in singles match as the \#4 singles player was named Honorable Mention.  The Gulls as a team had an overall 62-10 record in singles action.

Endicott also had all three of their doubles duos recognized with postseason awards.  Cioffi and senior captain Emily Annis (Hampton, N.H.) were named Second Team Doubles one year after earning an Honorable Mention award.  Cioffi and Annis, who were Endicott’s \#1 doubles team, were 5-4 overall, 3-2 in CCC matches. 

Senior captain Laura MacLeod (Mashpee, Mass.) and Egbert were awarded Honorable Mention Doubles.  The duo went 6-1 against their CCC opponents and 9-2 overall.  Mainly at the \#2 doubles spot, MacLeod and Egbert also won two matches at the \#1 doubles position.

The undefeated \#3 doubles combination of Cloutier and Heacox were also named Honorable Mention Doubles after a 9-0 (6-0 CCC) regular season.   In 2011, the Gulls as a team were 29-7 in doubles play.
