NEWPORT, R.I. - The Endicott women's soccer team fell to Salve Regina, 2-1, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Saturday afternoon at Reynolds field.
Kelly Talerico (Portland, Conn.) found the foot of Morgan Hubert (Southington, Conn.) early in the contest (13:24) to give the Gulls a 1-0 advantage.
From there, the Seahawks were able to respond with two unanswered tallies (27' | 38') to earn the victory.
In goal, Rosalina Caliri (East Greenwich, R.I.) recorded seven saves in the setback (2-1-1).
BEYOND THE BOX
- Despite the loss, Endicott holds a 26-4-1 advantage in the all-time series versus Salve Regina.
- The Gulls dropped their first match away from The Nest this year (4-1-2).
- Hubert and Ella Morgan (Salem, Mass.) are tied for second on the team in goals scored with three apiece.

Endicott (7-3-3, 1-1-2 CCC) hosts Nichols on Tuesday, October 11 at 4 PM. Salve Regina (5-7-1, 2-1-1 CCC) travels to Western New England on Tuesday, October 11 at 3:30 PM.
