BEVERLY, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) office announced weekly honors on Monday afternoon, and it was announced that Endicott's Erin Wood (Hanson, Mass.) was named both the Offensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week.
In her first year dawning the Blue and Green, Wood scored her first collegiate goal in the team's 2-1 win over Saint Joseph's (Me.). Her strike, that came in the 87th minute, snapped a 1-1 tie, and proved to be the game-winner as the Gulls won the match by a 2-1 final. The Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week nods were both the first of her career.
