Walker’s Late Tally Lifts Endicott Past Wellesley, 1-0

BEVERLY, Mass. — Eliza Walker's (Marshfield, Mass.) goal at the 74:22 mark of the contest held true as Endicott defeated Wellesley, 1-0, in non-conference action on Wednesday night at Hempstead Stadium.

Julia Matus (East Greenwich, R.I.) set up the game-winning goal with a perfectly placed corner kick to a wide-open Walker who headed home her first collegiate tally near the far post.

From there, the Gulls held Wellesley to zero shot attempts to close out the victory.

Senior goalkeeper Jacqueline Ruggiero (Dedham, Mass.) bumped her record to 2-1-0 on the season in the win.
