Standish, ME--In non-conference play, the Endicott women's soccer team defeated St. Joe's 2-0. Outshooting their opponent 16-1 and playing against a defensive minded St. Joe's, the EC Gulls couldn't seem to find the back of the net.
Finally, in the 76th minute of play, senior co-captain Kate Healey would score off of an assist from Katie Cederberg. The Gulls would add an insurance goal when Jessica Scholz completed a penalty kick, as a result from a foul in the box. The score would remain 2-0, giving Endicott their 14th win of the season.
Play resumes when the team travels to the University of New England on Tuesday, October 28th. This is the last regular season Commonwealth Coast Conference game for the Gulls. They are undefeated in the CCC with a record of 12-0, 14-2-1 overall.
