BEVERLY, MA - Jenn Elwell (Tewksbury, MA/Shawsheen Tech.) and Jenna Lazar (Milton, MA/Milton) earned Commonwealth Coast Conference weekly honors after leading the Gulls to a 7-3 record in the 2007 Rebel Games in Kissimmee, Florida last week.

Elwell was named CCC Co-Pitcher of the Week after going 2-0 with a 0.63 earned run average in three appearances. She threw 14.1 innings striking out 13 batters allowing just 10 hits and one earned run. Elwell scattered five hits and struck out five in each of her two starts.

Lazar provided a spark in the Endicott lineup as she hit a team high .360 (9-for-25) with three stolen bases, seven runs scored and a run batted in. Lazar also worked nine walks boosting her on-base percentage to a lofty .520, reaching base safely in seven of the Gulls ten games last week.

EC heads to Bristol, RI for a big CCC double-header with Roger Williams University Tuesday March 27, playing at 3:30 and 6:00 pm. Endicott plays its home opener on Sunday April 1, with a double-header against the University of New England.
