Robert Secures Second Straight NECC Player Of The Week Award

BEVERLY, Mass. – For the second straight week, Endicott senior outside Rafa Robert (San Juan, Puerto Rico) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Last week (3/21-27), Robert posted an impressive 4.63 kills per set (74 kills total), a .394 hitting percentage, 1.06 digs per set (17 total), and five block assists as he led the Gulls to a 3-1 (3-0 NECC) week.

Robert's stat line in conference-only matches included 4.18 k/s, a .361 hitting percentage, seven digs, and four block assists.

Meanwhile, his best match of the week came against No. 10 nationally ranked Wentworth, in which he hammered home a career-high 28 kills on 44 attempts (.455) to go along with 10 digs.

This is Robert's fourth career NECC Player of the Week award.
