BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior outside Rafa Robert (San Juan, Puerto Rico) has earned New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week honors, as announced by the league office earlier today.
Robert led Endicott to a 2-0 week, including a league win over Eastern Nazarene. Robert averaged 4.67 kills per set (42 total), a .390 hitting percentage, 1.56 digs (14 total), five block assists, and 5.4 points per set on the week.
In the Gulls' conference victory over Eastern Nazarene, Robert compiled a career-high 24 kills on 41 attempts for a .415 hitting percentage. He followed that performance up with an 18-kill, 11-dig effort against Concordia Wisconsin on Saturday.
This is Robert's third NECC Player of the Week award.
