BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's volleyball team opens up its 2022 season tonight at 7 PM against NCAA Division II program American International College (AIC) at home. Here's a preview of the upcoming season.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Gulls enter the 2022 season as the two-time defending New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) champion.
- Endicott returns NECC All-Conference selections Gabe DeBenedetto (Rockford, Ill.), Rafa Robert (San Juan, Puerto Rico), Nikolas Kasprzak (Windham, N.H.), and Ian Smith (Elk Grove, Calif.) to the lineup.
- The Gulls have competed in nine straight NECC Championships dating back to 2012 (first year in the conference, 7-2 overall).
- During that nine-year span, Endicott has compiled a 184-90 (.672) overall record and a 102-3 (.971) mark in conference play.
- The Gulls are receiving votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Preseason Top-15 poll.
