Gulls Land League-Best Eight Student-Athletes On NECC Academic All-Conference List

NECC RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's volleyball team placed a league-best and program-record-tying eight student-athletes on the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Academic All-Conference list.

Endicott's eight representatives were Matt Cruz (Easton, Conn.), Gabe DeBenedetto (Rockford, Ill.), Gavin Emenaker (Newton, Mass.), Nick Hayes (Salem, N.H.), Nikolas Kasprzak (Windham, N.H.), Brady Mullens (Aurora, Colo.), Aidan Napoli (Henderson, Nev.), and Brian Wightman (Las Vegas, Nev.).

Highlighting the list for the Gulls was Kasprzak who was named the NECC Male Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year earlier this month. Kasprzak is the first student-athlete in program history to receive NECC Male Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors.

To be eligible for NECC Academic All-Conference honors, a student-athlete must post a minimum grade point average of 3.40 on a scale of 4.00 and must be a sophomore or higher in class standing.

This is the second straight season the Gulls have landed eight student-athletes on the NECC Academic All-Conference list.
