Men's Volleyball Defeats Sage, 3-0

UTICA, N.Y. – The Endicott men's volleyball team defeated Russell Sage College, 3-0, by scores of 25-9, 25-15, and 25-13 in conference action on Sunday afternoon at Kahl Campus Center. 

Spencer Capps (Lake Bluff, Ill.) led the Gulls with a match-high six kills on nine swings (.667), one service ace, and four digs.

Nikolas Kasprzak (Windham, N.H.) and Rafa Robert (San Juan, Puerto Rico) also contributed to the sweep with five kills apiece, while Gavin Emenaker (Newton, Mass.) facilitated the offensive output via a match-high 25 assists.

Defensively, Emenaker also paced Endicott with a match-high eight digs. 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE 

  • Endicott is undefeated in the all-time series against Sage (3-0, zero sets dropped).  
  • The Gulls did not trail the Gators in the first set or third set. 
  • Emenaker recorded a career-high in assists (25) and digs (8) in the matchup. 
  • The Gulls have won their last four road matches away from The Nest (6-2 overall).

Endicott (10-4, 2-0 NECC) visits Eastern Nazarene on Tuesday, March 15th at 7 PM. Sage (4-17, 0-2 NECC) hosts Nichols on Monday, March 14th at 7 PM.
