Men’s Volleyball Breezes Past Former Conference Rival Elms, 3-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's volleyball team defeated Elms, 3-0, by scores of 26-24, 25-20, and 25-13, in non-conference action on Wednesday night at MacDonald Gymnasium.

Rafa Robert (San Juan, Puerto Rico) led the Gulls with a match-high 15 kills (.321), three digs, and three block assists.

Nikolas Kasprzak (Windham, N.H.) also notched seven putaways (.700) and Will Perry (San Mateo, Calif.) provided a much-needed spark off the bench via five kills (.273), one service ace, a dig, and two blocks (one solo).

Meanwhile, Gavin Emenaker (Newton, Mass.) ran an efficient offense behind a match-high 32 assists (.516 assist percentage; team hit .338).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Gulls improved to 37-5 all-time against Elms.
  • Endicott posted its fourth-best hitting percentage in a three-set match this season.
  • Tonight's match featured 22 ties and 10 lead changes (S1: 13-5 | S2: 8-4 | S3: 1-1).

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (13-5) hosts SUNY Potsdam this Saturday at 1 PM. This weekend's match will serve as Senior Day for the program. Elms (8-13) visits Emmanuel tomorrow at 7 PM.
