Gulls run win streak to eight, top Daniel Webster 3-0

Nashua, N.H. – The Endicott men’s volleyball team defeated host Daniel Webster 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-19) to improve to 18-9 overall and 10-2 the NECVA New England play at Mario Vagge Gymnasium. The Gulls have won eight straight and 12 of their last 13. 

Matt Devendorf (Glastonbury, Conn.) powered the Gulls with a match-high 12 kills.  Zeke Kubisch (Bethlehem, N.Y.) added nine kills while Josh Anderson (La Canada, Cal.) chipped in with six.

Andrew Slocum (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) gave the Gulls some extra power with a match-high nine digs while Jeremy Siden (Natick, Mass.) added eight digs and four kills.  Jeremy Schlosser (Emmaus, Penn.) and Carter Roche (Clifton Park, N.Y.) handed out 27 and 14 assists, respectively.

Rookie Joe Walz (East Longmeadow, Mass.) led the Eagles (6-11, 6-8 NECVA) with 11 kills, six digs and three total blocks while Chris Shannon (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) added seven kills and five digs.  Kyle Clement (Weymouth, Mass.) dished out 24 assists.

The Eagles return to action on Saturday when they visit MIT for a regional tri-match that includes a meeting with Mount Ida. The day’s action begins at 10:00 a.m.

Endicott hosts MIT on Thursday in a pivotal NECVA divisional matchup beginning at 7:00 p.m. Fans unable to attend the match can follow all the action via Live Stats and Live Video.
