Endicott remains undefeated in NECVA divisional play

The Endicott men’s volleyball team returned to the hard court for a NECVA New England match against Elms College, beating the Blazers 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-20).

Senior outside hitter Zeke Kubisch (Bethlehem, N.Y.) led the Blue and Green with a match-high 13 kills and juniors Jeremy Siden (Natick, Mass.) and Joshua Bruno (Andover, Mass.) each added six kills in the straight set victory.

Setter Jeremy Schlosser (Emmaus, Pa.) reached at least 30 assists for the third time this season, compiling 31 in the match.

The Gulls were countered by a nine kill effort from Bryson Rainey (Brookline, Mass.) and an additional six kills from Yonalvy Acosta (Holyoke, Mass.). Daniel Lebron (San Juan, Puerto Rico) had 19 assists.

Defensively, Andrew Slocum (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) led the Gulls with seven digs while freshman Brandon Chadwick’s (Chelmsford, Mass.) three block assists helped the visitors to 7.5 team blocks. Three other players had two block assists while Joshua Bruno had two solo blocks with one assisted.

Endicott (4-3, 3-0 NECVA NE) will next face off against Sages College at home on Saturday, February 5th at 6:00 pm.
