MELBOURNE, Fla. - Endicott College rallied to take five of the six singles contests to notch a come-from-behind win over Springfield College on Monday afternoon in Melbourne, Florida. The win bumps the Gulls back to an even .500 (2-2), while the Pride slip to 0-2.

Springfield College pounced on the Gulls to open the afternoon as the Pride took the first two doubles matches. Endicott's Marc Maloney (Feeding Hills, Mass.) and Scott Teller (Granville, N.Y.) got EC on the board as they teamed-up to defeat Bobby Schlink (Quarker Hill, Conn.) and Mike McGee (Pawtucket, R.I.), 8-3, to start the Gulls' momentum heading into the solo competition.

In the singles, Endicott's Dan Murray (Coventry, R.I.) survived a late push by Andrew Constant (Kingston, N.Y.) to hang on for the win in the No. 1 spot, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4. Josh Schoen (Phoenix, Az.) also scored a quick win for the Blue and Green, downing Joe Lisi (Southbridge, Mass.), 6-2, 7-5. Reigning TCCC Rookie of the Week Devon Locke (St. Croix, Virgin Islands), kept the Gulls rolling as he served up a win over Rahul Bala (Enfield, Conn.), 6-1, 3-6, 6-2. Scott Teller (Granville, N.Y.) and Gabriel Moraga (Marlborough, Conn.) were also winners for Endicott.

The Gulls waste no time returning to action as the Blue and Green continue their spring trip with a match-up against Hastings College on Tuesday afternoon.
