Gulls Shut Out Curry, 3-0

MILTON, Mass. – The Endicott men's soccer team traveled to Curry on Saturday morning and came away with a 3-0 victory.

The Gulls got on the board first when Evan Couchot (Mason, Ohio) found the back of the net with help from Jesse Martinez (Walpole, Mass.) at 16:47.  

Ten minutes later, Thomas Martin (Derry, N.H.) netted his second goal of the season to increase the Endicott lead to 2-0.  

With less than two minutes remaining in regulation, Robert Hartan (Hebron, Conn.) connected with Jamie Becker (Fairfield, Conn.) for the Gulls third goal of the game.  

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Will Manuel (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) recorded three saves and earned his fourth shutout of the season.
  • The Gulls held the 21-8 shot advantage.  
  • Max Robbins (Longmeadow, Mass.) also recorded an assist during the contest.
  • E. Couchot and Dario Neukom (Palma de Mallorca, Spain) led the offense with four shots. 

FOR THE FOES

  • Dylan Griffin (Hornell, N.Y.) and Adam DiBrina (Sudbury, Ontario) split time in net for Curry. Griffin recorded six saves while Dibrina had five. 
  • Kuda Muhlauri paced the offense with two shots. 

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (8-3-3, 4-0-2 CCC) hosts Wentworth for a 7 p.m. CCC matchup on Wednesday, October 18. Curry (8-8-1, 2-4-0 CCC) travels to University of New England on Wednesday, October 18 for a 4 p.m. game.
