BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman student-athlete Jamie Becker (Fairfield, Conn.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today. This is the first time Becker has won the award in his career.
In a pivotal conference matchup for the Gulls against Wentworth on October 18, Becker netted both Endicott goals in a 2-1 victory over the Leopards. His second tally, which served as the game-winner at 84:18 of the match, was a highlight reel bicycle kick goal that was passed to him near the left post from a header by teammate Dario Neukom (Palma de Mallorca, Spain). Brendan McLaughlin (Colchester, Conn.) also received an assist on the game-winning goal. JAMIE BECKER BICYCLE KICK GAME-WINNER.
