Boxscore

Paxton, Mass. – Senior \#Lindsey Mills\# (Arlington, Mass.) led an Endicott offensive charge that resulted in a 9-0 shutout of The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) foe Anna Maria College on Saturday afternoon. Mills netted a hat trick as the Gulls improved to 3-1 (1-0 TCCC) while the AmCats dropped to 1-3 (0-1 TCCC).
Mills opened up the scoring in the seventh minute of the match as she scored off a corner from \#Cara Hanrahan\# (Franklin, Tenn.) to put the Blue and Green up 1-0. Mills added her second tally six minutes later before completing the hat trick midway through the second half off another corner, this time from \#Stacie Teevens\# (Westborough, Mass.).
Mills wasn’t the only Endicott player to have offensive success against Anna Maria as \#Taylor Matties\# (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) and \#Joanne Reid\# (Clarksville, Md.) both had two goals and \#Nell O’Connor\# (Harwick, Mass.) and \#Melissa Enright\# (York Beach, Maine) each added scores with assists from Teevens.
The combination of freshmen \#Lizetta Solarik\# (Carmel, N.Y.) and \#Rachel Socolow\# (Westford, Mass.) faced little pressure from the AmCats as Socolow made just one save in the match. Anna Maria’s goalie Allyssa Boykin (Worcester, Mass.) made 17 saves in the cage for Anna Maria as she was under heavy fire by the Endicott attack.
Endicott returns to action on Tuesday, September 14 at 7 pm with a road game against UMass Dartmouth while Anna Maria travels to Worcester State College for a game on Thursday.
